A mattress should outlast the RV you put it in. Same coverage on Day 1 as Year 9 — no pro-rated fine print, no forms you need a lawyer to read. If it sags past spec, we fix it.

1. What the Warranty Covers

Body Impressions & Sagging. Over time, all mattresses naturally conform to your body. This warranty covers impressions or sagging that exceed 1.5 inches in depth, as long as the mattress has been consistently supported by an appropriate base. Indentations within normal wear are not considered defects.

Manufacturing Defects. While we strive for precision and consistency in every stitch, this warranty protects against verifiable material flaws in the mattress cover — such as unraveling seams or faulty stitching — that occur despite normal and proper use by the original owner.

Zipper Malfunctions. Zippers that fail during normal use, without signs of force or overextension, may be covered under this warranty. Issues resulting from accidental tugging, improper handling, or other mechanical stress are excluded.

2. Where the Warranty Does Not Apply

Foam Softening. Over time, all foam-based products experience gradual softening as part of their normal aging process. This natural change is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered.

Comfort Preferences. Comfort is personal, and individual perceptions of softness or firmness may shift. This warranty does not cover dissatisfaction related to feel, firmness level, or preference changes after regular use.

Moisture & Storage Damage. Exposure to water, high humidity, or unhygienic storage conditions can degrade materials in ways outside our control. Improper foundations or support structures may also compromise mattress performance and void coverage.

Physical Damage. Damage caused by external forces — cuts, burns, tears, or abrasions — falls outside warranty protection, as these do not result from a fault in the mattress itself.

Unauthorized Cleaning. Aggressive cleaning methods or unapproved chemical agents (including dry cleaning or solvent-based products) can irreparably harm the mattress structure and void this warranty.

Neglect or Misuse. Excessive wear, improper handling, or general neglect — such as failure to use a mattress protector or exposure to unsanitary conditions — may render this warranty void.

Shipping Costs. All shipping fees incurred during return or replacement, including transportation to and from our facility, are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3. How to File a Claim

Submit by Email. To initiate a claim, email returns@w-rv.com with your original order number, a clear description of the issue, and a set of well-lit, high-quality photographs that illustrate the concern.

Assessment Timeframe. Once we receive your submission, our team reviews the materials. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days, though this may vary with volume and complexity.

Processing Timeline. If approved, we proceed with repair or replacement at our discretion. This typically takes 5 business days after approval, not including shipping.

Return Shipping. Customers are responsible for shipping the mattress back to our facility. Once repair or replacement is complete, we cover the cost of return shipping to the original delivery address.

4. Best Practices to Preserve Your Warranty

Proper Support. Use a stable, level support system. Unsupported or uneven foundations cause premature wear and invalidate your coverage.

Rotation. Rotate your mattress 180° every 3–6 months. Our models are one-sided and do not require flipping, but rotation encourages even wear.

Use a Protector. A high-quality, breathable mattress protector guards against spills and stains while allowing airflow. Significantly extends mattress life.

Moisture Control. Avoid exposing the mattress to spills and high-humidity environments. Moisture breaks down internal materials and adhesives.

Safe Handling. Lift the mattress when moving it. Dragging or folding can damage internal structure or outer fabric — and may void your warranty.

Spot Cleaning Only. If something spills: spot clean with a small amount of mild soap and lukewarm water. Avoid soaking or harsh chemicals.

5. Terms & Eligibility

Coverage Scope. Unless specified otherwise in writing at time of sale, all Wilderness RV Mattress models are protected under this 10-Year Limited Warranty. Custom-designed mattresses may be subject to modified terms depending on materials and specifications.

Warranty Start Date. Your warranty begins on the original date of purchase as recorded in our system or documented via proof of sale. We may request your order confirmation to validate claims.

Non-Transferable. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser. Transfers of ownership — gifts, resale, donations — are not eligible for continued coverage.

Geographic Coverage. This warranty applies to products purchased and used within the United States and Canada. Mattresses located or relocated outside these regions are not eligible.

Law Tag Requirement. The law tag must remain attached and legible on the mattress. This tag includes production and material data required for claim validation.

Defective Product Disposal. When a replacement is issued, customers are responsible for appropriate disposal of the defective mattress. We do not retrieve or arrange return of damaged products.

6. Limitations of Liability

Repair or Replace. This warranty is limited strictly to repair or replacement of the mattress. It does not extend to incidental damages, delays, or personal inconvenience caused by mattress performance or service timelines.

Terms Subject to Change. The terms of this warranty — including scope of coverage and duration — are subject to change without notice. Any changes will be posted on this page.
